Cantina Terlano is, without a doubt, an icon for northern Italian wine. The vineyards lie on the same latitude as Burgundy, and are particularly privileged when it comes to climate. Indeed, wine growing in Terlano goes back to pre-Roman times. Archaeological finds in the area, including ladles and bronze vessels from the 5th to the 4th centuries B.C., are indicative of early wine growing activity.
 

Founded in 1893, the Cantina Terlano winery is now one of the leading wine growers’ cooperatives in South Tyrol, with 43 growers working a total area of 190 hectares. The portfolio is encyclopaedic, however the quality is never diminished. A vast number of varietal wines are made in a fresh and easy-to-understand style, as well as single vineyard wines and Terlaner DOC. The Cantina Terlano winery has a traditional focus on long-living wines. Proof of the benefits of this approach are found in the winery’s wine archive, which contains over 100,000 bottles comprising various vintages from 1893, the year the winery was founded, to the present.

HIDE will welcome the team from Cantina Terlano to guide us through a selection of some of their premium lines. Guests will taste white, rose and red wines from the bottle, magnum and double magnum in a broad showcase of the incredible Cantina Terlano portfolio. The wines will be served alongside a tasting menu in the luxurious surrounds of the Hide & Seek private dining room.
